JControl Dies with Rc 66

Hi,

After Installing suport pack stack 07 on EP 7.01 system unbale to start SAP server. Jcontrol dies with Rc 66. please find below DEV_Jcontrol.log and bootstrap.log.

DB Services are running fine as I am able to login into Config tool.Also tried to increase VM Heap Memory parameters but no luck.

Hi Sunny,

Where can i find the default trace file. I have referred Jcontrol log and Dev_boootstarp log but could not find hits to fixz this. Also When i trr with R3trans -d failed with Rc 12 which means application server could not able to connect with database. I am able to login into Config toos so DB is up and running fine.

Jconorl could not able to communicate with DB hence it dies with Rc 66 when trying to synchronize binaries.. Please correct If I am thinking in wrong way.

As per the R3trans.log I could not locate \ESS\sapmnt\EPD\SYS\global\dscdb6.conf'. Also I tried to Create Dscdb6.conf file but failed with below error.

Hi,

R3trans -d never works in case of portal. As portal use JDBC connectors to connect to database.

Check default trace file at /usr/sap/<SID>/JC<instance no.>/j2ee/cluster/server*/log
