Automatic Activation of Inspection Plan based on date

Hi,

My requirement is that first Inspection Plan to be valid from current date to 6 months. After 6 months the first inspection plan should be invalid and the 2nd inspection plan to be activated for only one lot. After that first inspection plan should be activated for another 6 months.

I need automatic activation of the above process.

Please help me to achieve my above requirement.

1. In Config, make change number mandatory for inspection plan

2. Create change number 1 valid from say 1/Jan/2011 to 30/Jun/2011

3. Create another change number 2 valid from 1/Jul/2011 to 31/Dec//2011

4. Create inspection plan with reference to change 1.

5. Change inspection plan with reference to change 2,

SAP will automatically set the valid from date to 1/Jul/2011 for this change

SAP will automatically assign correct inspection plan based on lot creation date.

There is no way to automatically make change1 valid again after change 2. You have to create a new change number
