dates for the receipts

Hi

Below is the demand situation

day req/ recipt qty

1 -10

2 -10

3 -10

7 30 production order

8 -10

After SNP Run

day req/ recipt qty

1 -10

2 -10

3 -10

3 30 SNP planned order

7 30 production order

8 -10

Now in the above case it has planned 20 extra qty in total. Can we make it consider the production order first before it creates new planned orders.

Hi Abhishek,

You include the production order category(s) (AC / AD) in the ATD receipt category group of the location and then run heuristic.

check the pegging for production order. If pegging, then PO is not available

Hi,

The way it has been mentioned , check for pegging and also see if the reduntant planned order has been created by Heuristic or manually.If it is a manual creation , then you know the answer and if it is created by SNP , then it might be that Heuristic has created as required and there is some other planning engine also running, which is picking some cost or priority factors and creating again
