This would lead me to the conclusion that the underlying filesystem is not supported with the current database parameters/the parameters the database is to be created.

What filesystem is that - and what OS version do you use? You have OnlineJFS installed?

Hi All,

My problem is resolved the error is caused by bug 10302203. You can check the list of installed

patched on top of your 11.2.0.2 by executing 'opatch lsinventory' command.

If not installed, install latest SBP as per note 1503709

Have you applied the Oracle interim patches after installing the Oracle software?

Can you touch/create a file with orasid in this particular directory?

Kind regards,

I beleive SAPINST should be started as root, root should have access to entire system.

Also make sure you create DBA,SAPSYS,SAPINST groups.
