Tax procedure for external tax calculation TAXUSX

Hi ,

We are using TAXUSX tax calculation procedure for external tax calculation .Now we are extending the external tax calculation for other countries who were earlier calculating taxes in SAP.Each country is assigned to an Tax procedure.

I wanted to know since US and Canada are using same tax procedure for external Tax calculation can we use this for other countries or we have to use country specific tax procedures not sure if TAXUSX has something which is required in tax procedure for external tax.

Each country will have own tax procedure. For using external tax calculations, this can be done only for US and Canada. Read OSS Note 1497956 - External tax calculation engines for further clarifications.
