Can compresed data in cube load upward.

Hi I have a cube where data is all compressed, I tried to load this data to another cube but the DTP process is being stuck in extraction step for hrs.

Is it possible to load data upward from a compressed cube.

Hi Amit,

This seem like a pure BW question, you need to post this on the BW forum.

Anyway, yes you can load from a compressed cube, but since request ID's do not exist you cannot use delta to load it up further. If you plan to do so, you need to load the request up further before running compression.
