Hello Everybody,
I am trying to install the SAP 5.0 on windows 2003 and SQL 2000 with SP4 in
windows clustering environment.
I had done following steps
1. Create cluster successfully and tested.
2. Install the SQL server on Node A by local administrator user. (Node A Administrator)
3. Maintain the required entries in host file.
4. Star the SAP installation by Domain Administrator user on Node A (logging on Node A by Administrator user of Domain)
At Database Instance phase,on the screen
Enter the password of the specified user for the RFC connection
RFC connection data
ABAP RFC user ddic
Password
Confirm password
After entering the Administrative password, it generate the error
FRF- 00007 unable to open RFC connection
I had tried the default DDIC password, the password at the time installation but not useful.
Secondly, I had manually start the SAP instance from SAP MMC, again start the installation but installation
is stopped on the same phase.
So please suggest me How to continue with the installation? also
is correct user used for the installation?
Thanks
Ganesh
Login the SAP by user SAP* and change the password of DDIC.
