How to Setup SLD

Hi we have XI3.0 SP16, SAP R3 4.6B

We are setting up SLD for this landscape.

How to define Business system and technical System for R/3. Do we still call this ABAP WEBAS ( though its not WEB AS). Also Do we have to attach Integration Server to this ABAP WebAS ?

Please clarify.

ALso, for R3 systems , the Business Systems will be WEB AS ABAP.

WEB AS JAVA are used for Java Proxies.

Also, for transportation matters, you'd like to create groups in SLD. Each group must have it's own integration server and the application servers. Then, you configure the transport targets for each application server in the Dev group. That'd help a lot when transporting XI from Dev to Prd system.

Hi Ram,

choose WEB AS ABAP. Configure as role "Application System" and choose your XI Business System as "Related Integration Server".
