SAP Content Server sizing for DMS

Former Member

Hi

Can anyone advise on the most appropriate way to 'size' for a new Content Server. Documents have been stored in the SAP DB till now, but the use is increasing, so now a new Content Server is to be added and all existing documents migrated into it. I have seen references in the past to SAP methodology for sizing the content server, but now cant find any.

Thanks

Hi John,

Please note that SAP DB as a storage option is exercised only in a demo/development environment. It is always recommended that you use a content server to move in your documents.

Sever sizing(rope in your Basis associate) is a topic that has been discussed several times over in the DMS forum.Use the 'search' function for results.
