Create Bid Invitation

Hi

Am working on SRM 7.We want to implement a custom functionality basically stating that for certain Product categories when the user orders the shopping cart it should automatically create a bid invitation as a follow-on document.

Can anyone please assist.

How about using Sourcing via automatic bid invitation for items without a source of supply in Define Sourcing for Product Categories customize? I have not tested it. Please let us know your test result.
