ARCHIVING Issue

Hi experts,

I have scheduled and released an ARCHIVE JOB for all the IDOCS present in the system for the year 2003 with the help of SARA. The ARV_IDOC_STO* job, ARV_IDOC_WRI* job and the ARV_IDOC_SUB* job executed successfully. When I go to the Maintainance window of SARA, I find that 2 objects are being stored and archived.

When RSEXARCR with the file, I get the list of IDOCS too that have been ARCHIVED.

But, when I go to SARI, I don't find those ARCHIVES in the list.

NOTE: I haven't scheduled the DELETION jobs yet, so there is no question that the IDOCS get deleted from the system.

I tried WE09, WE10 but to no avail.

Please tell me why is this happening or give me some remedy if there is something wrong.

Hey Avishek,

I think you have answered your own question... unless you run the deletion run, infostructures wont be filled, even if the infostructures are active.

Archiving is deemed to be 'complete' only when you have successfully run the deletion run and deletion run fills the infostructures if they are active. Hope ths answers your questions.

by the way I did not get what you were trying to say when you said

  I find that 2 objects are being stored and archived 

and

 I tried WE09, WE10 but to no avail
