Duet - For Demand Planning

Hi,

I have some very basic questions on Duet - in particular to Demand Planning side.

- I presume there is no way to use Lotus Notes for this functionality? If this is the case - could Duet be used to simply extract forecast to excel and upload again?

- What needs t obe installed t ouse this functionality?What R/3 and APO versions are required?

Hi Gomie,

Demand Planning is not part of Duet Enterprise (this is the Duet Enterprise and not the[ Duet Forum|;).

With Duet 1.5 there is an out of the box scenario Demand Planning which integrations SCM data into Excel. Since Duet 1.5 is based on Outlook / Exchange there is no integration with Lotus Notes (and Exchange server is a requirement for it). System requirements are availble in the Product Availability Matrix, PAM at http://service.sap.com/pam -> Duet -> Duet 1.5 on NW7.0

(for your scenario: SAP SCM 5.0 - SP011 (recommended), 5.0 SP07 (supported), 2007 u2013 SP03 (recommended), 2007 (supported), 7.0 SP01 (refer note 1120022 for more details regarding stated releases))

Keep in mind, that although Duet 1.5 is still fully supported, no new functionality will be developed on top of it.
