Hello,
when you copy client you need to use BDLS to rename logical systems from old client to the new client. This transaction can change all entries it SRM tables regarding old logical system to new one. Beware that this transaction do not change RFC destinations but only logical system names. For example in IMG activity "Define Backend Systems" it changes only entry in field "Logical sys" (LOG_SYS) not in "RFC destination" (RFCDEST)
You can use this transaction for any logical system in SRM tables (local system, backend, HR, BW and so on).
If you start this transaction and press "i" in blue square you can see SAP help for this transaction. Also you have test option for that transaction.
