Order category

Hi,

I have a Sales order created in R/3 with the cat BM.

It has been updated via CIF to APO as BM but we are seeing the same order in the Planning book as VMI SO (Cat EK)

Can anyone kindly tell me the possible reason for this change???

Hi Sriman

You say that the sales order has category BM in APO. How did you confirm that ? did you check /n/sapapo/rrp3 and find the sales order under category BM ?

If the sales order is found in category BM in /n/sapapo/rrp3 , then go to /n/sapapo/msdp_admin and check what all categories are associated with the key figure against which the sales order is getting displayed in planning book. My guess is that the keyfigure used for displaying VMI SO's is associated with two categories - BM and EK. If this is the case and if you like to see SO's and VMI SO's in separate key figures , then you have to change planning area settings accordingly.

On the other hand if SO's and VMI SO's are not shown against same key figure , then check your macros and see if there is some logic there that is causing this issue (this is highly unlikely , but still check it )
