WebDynpro OfficeControl and Word tables

Hi to all,

I try to use OfficeControl in Webdynpro.

Besides of changing fields in open Word document I want to insert data in table in Word.

This was possible before using DOI - Desktop Office Integration , method INSERT_TABLE and INSERT_TABLE2.

Does anybody knows is this possible now using Office Control in WebDynpro ?

Hi all,

well there is one possibility how you can put with data into your word.

1. create an Word Document Template on your Desktop.

2. Put some Tables into the Dokument.

3. Describe the fields with Bookmarks.

4. Upload the document into your MIME Repository

5. Get the Data from your Kontext Node.

6. Set the Data to the bookmarks.

7. Save the Document.

This only works if you dont want to create dynamic tables.

I guess its possible.

you need to use the interface IF_IOS_WORDPROCESSING.

check out the standard comp IOS_TEST_WORDPROCESSING present in SIOS package.

it uses the SETFIELDS method of interface IF_IOS_WORDPROCESSING to pass the data to m s word.

Yes I know about IOS_TEST_WORDPROCESSING present in SIOS package.

But in this example is possible only to change field by field but I didn't find how to change table values in Word.
