issue with iTera HA software and SP19

We are looking to install an enhancement package in a few months along with the latest support packages. As part of this we will be implementing Basis SP19 which IBM and SAP state I must follow the instructions in OSS note 1366799. Basically this note states you must set the journal attribute MINENTDTA to *FILE. I decided to check with our HA vendor for the iTera HA product and they stated this journal parameter was not supported. So I am wondering if anyone on this group also uses the iTera HA product with SAP on i and if they were able to set the recommended journal attribute and apply Basis SP19?

Hi Russ,

at least you should NOT install it without this parameter and without talking to SAP ...

If you really do find no other solution, then you should open an OSS ticket with bc-db-db4 and ask for help. They are able to provide you CLRPFM on 1-4 tables and then SP 19 will run into your system without the system crash ... otherwise, especially the Q and P system are in danger !
