upgrade from SRM 5 to SRM 7 while working with BW3.5

Dear Experts,

We would like to upgrade our system from SRM 5 to SRM 7 and we work with BW 3.5.

Is this BW version suppose to work fine with SRM 7? or should I make some matching actions?

Hi,

Please read [OSS note 1237150|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1237150] and [OSS note 955804|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/955804]first especially if you will be adopting new functionality in the SRM 7.0.

Your obstacle will be - if the new BI content can be used on a BW 3.5 system which is likely not tested by SAP too.. Hence i would encourage you to upgrade the BI as well.
