What is the difference between approval level "role" and "system and role"?

May I know the difference between approval level "role" and "system and role"?

If we want to use approval level "system and role", is there any preconditions? and what will be impacted?

Hi

As you have not elaborated, I understand that you are asking for Approval level configuration in CUP at stage level.

The differnce in 'Role' and 'System and Role' is as under:

Approval level if at Role level then if the same Role Owner for Role is on different system viz. Production and Quality the approver has the authority to approve irrespective of the different system.

If 'Role and System' is maintained in Approval level then the Role Owner maintained for respective system will have to approve the requests.
