Parcel Shipment output

All,

I have a situation where i need to setup an EDI output for parcel shipments. By parcel shipments i mean small items which do not have shipments within SAP. They only have deliveries since they are parcel shipments and go through FedEx. We have our own program setup which creates the parcel shipments tracking numbers. We need to be able to send the tracking numbers thru EDI to FedEx and thats why i need an edi output setup for parcel shipments.

I never worked on shipment. If you want to send the tracking details from SAP system then I would like to suggest to check IDOC types SHPMNT01,SHPMNT02,SHPMNT03 and SHPMNT05. The message types associated with are SHPMNT, SHPCON, SHPADV and SHPPL. You can explore these IDOC types in t.code WE60. Consult with an ABAP'er who can help with the requirements.
