Inspection lot for stock transfer

Hello All,

My requirement is that when i will do movement 301 from plant A to B then system should create inpsection lot. System should not create inspection lot instead of 301 mov type. If i assigned inpsection type 08 in material master it will create lot for each stock transfer posting. My requirement is that system should create lot for mov type 301 when i transfer from plat A to B.

Also it should not create lot if I transfer stock from A plant to C.

Please guide me on this issue.

Well If you do not maintain 08 inspection type in plant C for that material it will not create lot in plant C.whereas in plant B if you maintain it will create.

Apart from this there is one more way

Copy 301 in OMJJ say Z31. Now for this inactive QM in customization.Whenever you do 301 from A to B it will create lot.

but when you do A to C with mvt type Z31 it will not create inspection lot.

If i have maintained inpsection type 08 in plant A, though I transftered material from storage location to storage location, system will create lot. I dont want this. I want lot should be created only when I transfered from plant A to plant B.

Yes definitely..........But you just have to maintain 08 in B & nothing has to do with plant A.If you active 08 in plant B then why you need to maintain in plant A.

Sorry its my typing mistake.

I will maintain 08 ffor material XYZ in plant B. When I transfer material from Plant A to Plant B system will create inpsection lot in plant B. It is corect for me. As I have assigned 08 in material XYZ in plant B, thoughI have trasfered XYZ from sto loc 123 to sto loca 456, system will creat lot which I dont want.

Please suggest for this.

when u transfer material from storage location to str. loc. 311 will be there

deactivate qm for 311 mvt.

Hello,

This setting is at client level. If I have deactivated for movement type 311,in all plants it will be deactivated. I want to resrtict it at plant level only.

Here again there are two ways.

If you are not using 311 mvt frequently/other plants then deactivate QM in OMJJ config.

If you are using 311 for other plants then you have to copy mvt type 311 to z11 in OMJJ .& de-activate QM for this mvt type.

Whenever you want to transfer you can use this Z11 mvt type for plant B

I hope this makes sense.As there is no other ways.......
