Release code and user description table

Hi experts,

Kindly let me know the following:-

What is the table for maintaining Release code and the user description(User ) in SAP??

As per my opinion there is no direct link between Rel Code and User in SAP except through Authorisation role/object. Morever a single rel code can be assigned to multiple users in SAP, in such cases how do you identify the unique user for the rel code.

So it is worthless to determine link in rel code and user in table. You may refer auth object wherein you may get list of user ID having auth for such rel code and then using these IDs goto table USR21 and ADRP for user names as already suggested.

The table is required where the release code and the user descriptions ie the full name of the user is maintained..

Hi There

T16FW will provide the details of R Code assigned to which user-- But it will provide the used ID only, it will not give the full name,,

Or

Check in the Table USR05- Pass all the release codes in parameter Value,, System will list out all the R group/R Code/User ID,,

Hi,

The table T16FW is blank.Whereas the table USR05 is not listing out the User id,and the release code .Its showing only the parameter values.

Kindly help to get the link for the Release code and the User id...

Hello,

I dont think so that you will be able to link release code with user ids directly in one table.

You will have to consider multiple tables to set the exact link between all of this.

User id --> Role --> Release Code --> Description (T16FD)

User ID Description

USR21 (Get Personal Number, by entering user id) and pass the details to ADRP and get first name and last name.

Hi

As i said earliar pass the release codes in USR05 and execute it ,,, it will provide the details,,

If you are executing directly, it may bring all code details with/without assignments,,

Also in Settings- Choose fields- make sure that all the fields are enabled,,

and

T16FW can not be Blank,, if you have the R Group and R Code assigned,,
