Hi
We have a issue recurring inspection lot created before
we have material and we have maintained inspection type Z01 in material master that origin is 01 for Pre-sampling Inspection and also maintained inspection type 09 for Recurring inspection of batches and maintained Inspection interval 5 days.
system has created lot against inspection type Z01 on date 01/01/2011 and has created Recurring inspection lot on date 02/01/2011
base on above scenario system should be Recurring inspection lot on date 05/01/2011 during batch job run .
why system has created Recurring inspection lot 02.01.2011 intend of 05.01.2011
and what i need to be checked
Check the next inspection date in the batch record, (MSC3n). This is the date the batch job looks at. If your inspection interval date is set at 5 days, then I'm guessing this has something to do with how and when you receipted the stock on site.
You refer to the Z01 as a pre-sampling inspection. Did you mean a source inspection where the material is inspected prior to actual receipt? If so, when did you actually receipt the material and what production date was entered. The next inspection date is calculated form the production date and has nothing to do with your Z01 inspection. In SAP those two things are totally separate things with no interaction.
