SSL Hand shake exception

Hi ,

customers send electronic orders to Confectionary via a

VAN (Value Added Network) which is a service provided by GXS. SAP PI 7.1

polls the VAN (GXS) every 10 minutes using Seeburger FTP Adapter from

VAN. These orders are then translated from EDIFACT format into a

required SAP IDoc. SAP PI passes these IDocs using IDoc Adapter onto the

SAP ECC system.

recently GXS has updated, In an effort to maintain the appropriate security when connecting to the GXS platform, we will be renewing the SFTP SSL domain certificate on February 18th at 03:00 GMT.

They had forwarded the certificate ,which we had installed in the java stac Keystore .and they imported successfully.

But we are still getting the following error as below

com.seeburger.communication.socketmodel.sockets.SslHandshakeException: SSL Handshake failed:

Hi there,

As you are on PI 7.1, probably you'll have to use the old version of iaik_ssl.jar file.

This is gonna support the range of 3.0-3.1 versions.

The new version, which is the one you're using, supports range 3.0-3.2, but the 3.2

is not yet supported within the servers and hence that's the reason you should use

the old version of iaik_ssl.jar file.

hi,

are you sure the certificates are loaded in the right key store ?

are you usre the certificates you have are for the right host name ?

another idea would be the sftp finger print that is loaded at the first connection and then you need to have transferred to the right keystore
