FTP Error

Hello

I am having 5-6 file adapters connecting to a FTP server posting files. The scenario is for one sender I have multiple receivers. The problem is some of the adapters successfully gets connected to the FTP server while rest error out with Connection closed error. But in second or third attempts the rest of the adapters delivers the file to the FTP server.

I guess this is the problem of FTP server settings.Has anyone trouble shooted similar problem with FTP servers? Or can we delay one adapter till other adapter successfully delivers the file without using the BPM?

Hi Rajeev,

In your file/ftp adapter configuration, check on 'Advanced Mode'. There you add the entry,

Name : ftp.timeout

Value : timeoutsecs

I tried with EOIO also but same problem. With normal case it use to process only one message at a time. With EOIO atleast it use to process sometime 2 or 3 messages and then fail at 4th message.
