Material assignment to activity as "Reservation to WBS"

Dear All,

In our scenario, user wants to attach some semi finished goods to network activity.

In MRP4 the indicator is 2 (Collective indicator), which procurement team doesnt want to change it to 1.

Now if it is 2, then "Reservation for network" is done because of which delivery doen't happen.

Can anyone suggest that without making the indicator 1, can we check just before attaching material through some user exit, and change that to 1, so that Reservation for WBS is selected.

If any alternate solution can be made, please suggest.

HI Shubham,

Indiv/Coll indicator controls the Type of Stock

if you select "1", system creates no doubt a reservation for WBSE but it will not be just "221". It would be "221 Q"

Maintain your goods movement type as "221" for Plant Stock - Goods Issue in "OPT1" & check.
