Writing off QA stock at Inventory level only -w/o creating WM movements

Hi

we have a problem where we have an amount of material in QA stock at inventory level

For some reason there is no corresponding entry at WM level, - we believe it was a timing issue when QM got switched on

What we would like to do is to write this stock off at Inventory level only, without creating entries into post change area at WM level

If i move from QA to unrestricted first, it does create an entry in posting change 922 area, and i then cannot clear it from Lu04

any help would be much appreciated

YorkD is correct, use LX23 to balance the stocks and then using eother PI or stock adjustments remove or add the stock as required

Hi Tony,

Seems you have a stock inconsistency between IM and WM. Please try to use the report LX23 to correct this problem. Be noted that this report will correct inconsistency by adjusting stock on IM level to be align with stock on WM level. Therefore, after LX23, you can run through a physical inventory process to clear the unwanted QA stock.
