IS-U DM: Change estimation rules for MR results

Hello,

My customer wants to change the rules for the estimation of MRs for budget billing period.

The new rule is:

- basis for the estimation should be consumption from last two analogical billing periods.

I am thinking about two ways how to implement this change:

1. Change in the user exit EDMLELHA

2. Create new variant program based on QUANTI14

I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Hi Vlado,

I would prefer option 1 - implementing this through customer exit, but I would choose EDMLEHR, which is IMHO better for your purpose (customer defined estimation method).

1.) it has more parameters in interface (more data available without work)

2.) need not any customization (EDMLELHR is run only if customization of estimation parameters is customized right (checkbox Special Procedure)

3.) EDMLELHA is meant as additional procedures during estimation, whether EDMLELHR is customer defined estimation procedure

According to variant program - it will not affect estimation through EL30 tcode and can be more difficult to implement

I hope it was helpful
