Inspection lot creation Manually

Hi

I want to create inspection lot manually..

Please tell me the Procedure..

I checked in help.sap.com . This below path itself i am not able to find.

Choose Logistics Quality management Quality inspection Inspection lot processing

Inspection lot Create

Use T code QA01

Input Material ,Plant ,Inspection type.

Here for inspection type like 01,89 you have to enter material number.along with plant

Other wise for inspection type like 03 ,04 this can be done without entering material.

Thanks for inputs.. Iam asking is there any setting required in SPRO for Inspection lot creation Manually..

Is it possible to maintain different number ranges for Automatic/ Manual.If yes How?

If it is 89 inspection type which can only created manually you can luxury of keeping inspection lot numbering starts from 89 etc.

But when it comes to inspection types like 01 which are created manually & automatically then its not possible to have different number range.

for manual lots there is only inspection lot origin & inspection type customizations requires in QCC3--->inspection lot creation
