IBM Compatibility for SAP ECC6 Installation

Dear All,

We are upgrading our existing SAP from 32 bit to 64 bit .We are planning to buy new H/W

IBM X 3650 M3 Server & IBM System Storage DS4000

Please let me know whether this server and storage is supported to install ECC6

OS - 2003 or 2008

Database :- Oracle

Hi Imtiaz ,

Thanks for reply ,I already checked PAM which is giving information Like General and Release Information on SAP Software Product Versions.

We required that the IBM X 3650 M3 Server is supported for ECC6 with OS 2003 or 2008 and database Oracle.

I checked sizing tool also , but unable to find solution.

Please let me know how to find appropriate H/W for my requirement.

Usually it's done like:

- you create a project in the quicksizer

- you fill in the necessary data

- you give the project number to your vendor (IBM or an IBM reseller)

- vendor offers you an appropriate certified machine
