Good morning,
hope I'm right here in this forum...
We are exporting data from a report to Excel. That worked fine since the new office 2010.
When we now call the report wich opens EXCEL, EXCEL opens not as an external program, but as a kind of embeddet EXCEL in the SAP GUI. Now it is impossible to store the EXCLE-Sheet.
Has anybody an idea? How can I assign data from our report to EXCEL as an external application?
We are using Windows 7 / GUI 7.20 / Office 2010
Thanks in advance
Regards
Martin
Hello!
I solved this problem very simple.
You have to edit "Quick Access Toolbar" in your local Excel in order to add there the "Save As" button to this.
Than you have an opportunity to save the File.
It works fine.

It doesn't matter! because the question is, what should I do to set up it generally for all users. For example by rollout the Office 2010 in the company.
I think it is a bug in excell implementation in gui , that the menue FILE is not appiear now bei "Excell in Place".
Have a nice day
