Hi Experts,

How can i solve this problem?

Thank you,

is other iviews related to SRM are working fine.

if yes then, check out the service related to this particular iview.

see whether the service is active or not.

thanks

No, all of them are not working. all links that are under "reports" are not working. if you click the links under reports, a pop up window will appear with comments: "Page Not Found or Not Available"

Any idea on how to activate these links?

Tony

Also when i try to create documents in the system, -> Requisitioning -> Detailed Navigation -> Requisitioning -> Create Documents -> Shopping Cart -> a window will be displayed:

Action could not be performed

The attributes of the user are inconsistent or not defined. See transaction PPOMA_BBP.

Please help. thank you.

Antonio,

I am sure you would have resolved it by now... but just to answer here for those who may come across this. You need to make sure that the iview in question has been added to the Navigation Node of the Role , have tried it and it works.

Hi,

This error usually occurs when the Backlink PCD-URLs from Homepage Framework are not set correctly (and by default, they are empty).

Go to your HPF in your Backend and check whether the PCD URLs of the Ressources are maintained correctly.

Hi Neha,

Thannk you for your reply. Unfortunately, i haven't solved this issue.

You need to make sure that the iview in question has been added to the Navigation Node of the Role

if i have 10 iviews that have problems in launching or "page not found", does it mean that 10 iviews should also be added to the Navigation Node of the Role?

can you guide me on how to add the said iview in the Navigation Node of the Role?

Thanks!

If you are able to see the node in the your navigation list .

it means it is added to your role.

i guess you should try out that homepage framework page suggested int eh above post.

thanks

Hi Lukas,

Thanks for your info. How to check Backlink PCD-URLs from Homepage Framework if it is correctly checked? Also please give me an idea too on how to check HPF in our Backend whether the PCD URLs of resources are maintained correctly...

Thank you,

Tony

Hi,

sure thing.

1. First of all, you need to go to your Portal into Content Admin and navigate to the ROLE where the Portal Object (iView or Page) is in you try to open (and get the 404 error). There navigate down to the said Portal Object (iView/Page) and double click it so on the right side, its details are opened.

2. In the Portal Object's properties, there is one called PCD-Location (or the like, my system is on german only, so this is roughly translated... something with 'PCD' anyway..). Copy the path it shows into Clipboard. It should look like this:

portal_content/<company_content>/<company_roles>/<company_namespace>.<Name_of_role>/<workset>/<workset>/<name_of_page_or_iview>

3. Log onto your ERP System. Go to TA Code SPRO. Personell Management --> Employee Self Services --> General Settings --> Homepage for Self-Services --> Homepage Framework --> Ressources --> Define Ressources

4. Here you have to find out which Portal Objects refers to which ressource. I don't know which one applies in your case, you have to find out on your own.

5. Once you know which Ressource corresponds with the Portal Object, open the respective Ressource and copy the path from clipboard into the textbox 'PCD-page' and IMPORTANT, add the prefix ROLES:// to the path.

All this is nessecary because: The first thing which happens, when you click on an iView is, the Backend is called via Metadata JcO and checks authorities AND HPF. Once the iView has found its Ressource, it needs to find the way back to portal framework, that's what's with the PCD-path.

I hope this little excursus helped you understand better. Let's hope this actually does solve your problem )

best regards, Lukas

Antanio,

Here are the steps to add the desired iviews to the navigation node of the Strategic Purchaser Role (SRM 7.0)

1) Go to Portal Content-> Content Provided by SAP-> Specialist-> SRM 7.0 -> Core -> Roles-> Stratgic Purchaser

2) Identify which is the iview which is not getting displayed (Right Click on the page with the error to locate the desired iview) and add the iview under navigation node.

In my scenario I added "Detail Bid" iview for which i was getting the error as it was missing in the standard Stretagic Role. Ideally you should copy the standard role and then modify.

Hopefully it should work! Let me know!

Hi Neha,

sorry i wasnt able to reply immediately, this was put on hold since i need to integrate SRM to ERP first. i'll get back to this issue once i've successfully integrated srm and erp. btw, do you have an idea here? because im in the middle of srm-erp integration:

i dont have any idea on what to put specifically on the Technical Users to be created.. here are the users that appeared on the config wizard which is pending on my inputs.. I am in the 43 of 1737: UI Technical User

SRM2ERP

SRM2ERPD

ERPLOCAL

ERP2SRM

ERP2SRMD

SRMLOCAL

Fields to be filled up - ABAP Profiles and ABAP Roles. Just in case you know the answer, I posted this query already in a separate question.

Thanks,

Tony
