When i am trying to install oracle 10.2.0.4 i am getting below warning:

Try to connect to sqlplus first, It seems the software you have downloaded is corrupted.

If you are able to connect to DB, then use startup nomount and continue with your installation.

If you are not able to connect to sql, just download the software again and re-install (Follow the standard installation guide).

hi ,

i started with newly downloaded oracle s/w and successfully installed oracle and patches too.

this time i stuck with 12 phase of installation

The current status is as per note:

i added # in oraparam.ini to avoid pre-requisites check like:

So that i forward to oracle installation 50% but after that it showing me another warning:

By ignore the message i installed oracle & patch.

When continue with old SAP installation its showing me error

If all the OS patches and kernel parameters are set properly, then run the installer with -ignoreSysPrereqs option.

And there is a new RUNINSTALLER released to ignore the minor errors (Bugs), search for the note, download and use.

What is the Linux version? Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 ? I think it it! Have you read the note 1048303 and 171356? Check in sap note 1048303 the section on bottom that mentioned:

Additional notes for installation with Oracle RDBMS
The following examples are for the x86_64 platform. You might need to adjust paths according to your setup.

When running the runInstaller/RUNINSTALLER commands, you may get a warning like the following:
...
...

Open the oraparam.ini file and edit it with that solution...!
