Archivelog file created under owner root

Hi,

TSM is used to backup oracle in my SAP environment. This setup is working fine; but recently I have installed this backup on a new SAP system. The online backup job fails to backup archive log, as they are created under user root; the backup job is running as a oracle user. All the file mounts are owned by correct users. I am unable to determine the setting which is causing this log to be created with an in correct owner. Please help.

Check the dba user group and all Users and Groups are created as recommended(Compare your source with target).

Correct all the things and restart your database to get it reflected.

With what user is database running?

Do a ps -ef|grep ora_ and check the user.
