CIF integration with APO and ERP

Dear Experts,

We have a requirement of setting up a links between SCM 7.0 (APO) system and an ERP 6.4 system in order to use Core Interface (CIF).

Appreciate if you could kindly guide me as to how we should do the initial Basis configuration activities to enable this CIF integration.

Is there a way that I can get hold of a link with the step-by-step instructions for the initial CIF configurations from the Basis point of view ?
