How to drill_down in time dimension within DP macro?

Folks,

Anyone has encountered any macro where you have drilled down in the time characteristic? Say you have a planning buckets profile that is in months and quarters. In the macro, you want to first drill down to the technical periods (which is in weeks) and then do the calculations. This is the requirement.

Business Case: You have a key figure that represents a time phased demand for a customer. You want to move the demand forward by two weeks. If you are in mothly or quarterly buckets, then this "moving of demand by two weeks" does not change anything (because the time bucket is not granular enough).

Any thoughts?

DRILL_DOWN()

DRILL_DOWN( 'characteristicu2019 , <'internal'>, <u2019CBFu2019> ) carries out a drilldown using the specified characteristic (technical name). The display is as for Details (all) in the planning table. If you set the optional argument 'internal,' the display is not changed. This option improves performance if you intend to drill-up in the same macro subsequently.

SSet the u2018CBFu2019 argument if you are working in a CBF planning book and the characteristic is a CBF characteristic. If you want to drill down on a non-CBF characteristic, do not set this argument.

Hi,

Unfortunately this is not possible, With drill_down you can only perform a structural drill down, no time-based drill down.
