Customer master General data

Hello ,

General data is relevant to Sales and Accounting. It is valid for All org units.

So, I need to check with experts here, is it correct to say that

1. General data is valid for All Sales Area or

2. All SD org units or

3. must say valid for ALL Org Units

I want to know so that I won't say wrong things to my team leader.

If valid for all org units, can say its valid for All Sales org unit or not? So, points 1 to 3 are all valid?

regards

Pascal

General Data cannot be viewed alone. Either you have to execute VD02 or FD02 which means, you can see the General Data pertains to either to a Company Code or to a Sales Area

thanks

Dear pascal,

Customer master general data is valid for all sales area you create.

It will be valid for the organisational unit which makes up your sales area as well ie:-

Sales organization

Distribution channel

Division

If you are asking about SD org units units the above is correct.

Organizational units may vary according to particular modules and in that case their org units differs.

Yes, general data is valid for All Org units - i.e. for all sales Areas and Company Codes.

If valid for all org units, can say its valid for All Sales org unit or not? So, points 1 to 3 are all valid? - Yes - to say all org. units - it means points 1 and 3 you mentioned - i.e. all relevant sales and finance org units (sales areas and co. codes).

Thanks
