Dear experts,
I have a requirement when sending files to a remote system of a client. Instead of placing the files
on an FTP server where the client system picks them up our XI/PI system should trigger a process
(e.g. an import SQL script) on the remote system!
Can I do something like that with PI 7.0? I browsed the board here but could not find any thread
concerning that topic.
Thank you for any input on this!
Best regards,
Peter
You just not mentioned the most important thing: what kind of remote system is that where you need to trigger a process?

If it is an SAP ERP system you can call the sapevt command to send an event to the erp system. This event can be catched up in the ERP system via a job in the background processing. You can call sapevt in the post processing of your receiver channel.

and will see about that.
Thank you and best regards,
