Replenishment from 902 Storage type.

We have a fixed Bin to place stock in a Storage Type.

When a Goods receipt is made the stock is received in 902 Storage type.

When stock falls below replenishment Qty in the fixed bin and when replenishment Job is executed is it possible to trigger replenishment from the dynamic bin that is existing in 902 to the fixed bin

Client requirement is when stock is received in 902 the stock should exist in dynamic Bin and will not be putaway in the fixed bin.The stock should exist in the 902 and when replenuhsment is run only then the fixed bin should be replenushed from 902.

Strange scenario.

I would recommend to create a WM mvnt type (ex 920) specific for this replenishment transaction with Dest ST = "the fixed bin ST". Add the mvnt to the ref field. Then in your ST search pick strategies add an entry with ref mvnt type for the one you created, something like this:

WH Operation ST Ind Ref ST Search 1ST

=== ======= ===== ============ ===

123 A 001 920 902

Now run the replenishement programs and the stock will be picked from ST902 going to your Fixed Bin ST.

How are you receiving, is it through MIGO or VL31N/ PGR?

You can create variant to include the storage 902 specifically in Batch job & u can perform to fill the fixed bins.
