Availability Solman 7.0 EHP 1 SR1

In note 781448 there is Sp-level-information information about Solman 7.0 EHP1 SR1:

I am interested in this release, because there are less patches to apply to get to the actual SP-Stack than using Solman 7.0 EHP1 (which has to be patched with the delivered DVD from Sp 19-23, and then further to SP....)

Unfortunately actually in SWCAT and service.sap.com/swdc only Solman 7.0 EHP1 (without SR1) is available and in solman release note 394616 there is no infomation about availability of SR1.

Any information about general availability ?

I think, that the SRs are not separate listed in pam, because it is not a new release itself. For example there is only ERP6.0 EHP4 and not ERP 6.0 EHP4 SR1 in pam. In my opinion the SRx will belong to the main release ( so Solman 7.0 EHP1).

Dear Uta,

If you look inthe Installation Manual for ERP 6.0 EHP4 SR1 you can download the software via this navigation path:

http://service.sap.com/swdc > Download > Installations and Upgrades > Entry by Application Group<SAPsolution><SAP product><SAP release>Installation and Upgrade<operating system><database>

I suggest you review an Installation Guide as well service.sap.com/instguides, as this is where the above information was taken.

Hello Paul,

You have misunderstood my last posting. I don't look for ERP 6.00 EHP4. I meant only that the Servicereleases (SRxxx) are not separately listed in pam. (Example: ERP 6.0 EHP4 SR1 is already available, but is not listed SEPARATELY in pam, because it is the the same release as ERP 6.0 EHP4 with a higher Supportpackagestacks, probably a newer sapinst-version etc....)

I KNOW where to find software at the SAP marketplace, but there is only

1) Solman 7.0 and 2) Solman 7.0 EHP1 but no Solman 7.0 EHP1 SR1 (!!!) (=Servicerelease 1 with a higher supportpackage level). Also instguide for Solman 7.0 EHP1 SR1 is not available at service.sap.com/instguides - > SAP components -> SAP Soluton Manager.

Looks like the SR1 will come in the future (see the mentioned note in my first posting), but MY BIG QUESTION IS: WHEN ?????

Are you doing a Migration? The only current reference I can see relating to SR1 is regarding migration - a system copy.

Please review this Note 781448 - Support Package levels of SolMan installations /upgrades.

If you compare this to Kernel/ABAP Support Packages contained in the Solution Manager 7.0

Enhancement Package 1, it is more current. So why don't you see if you can find the right download on SMP as this Note will tell you want the component release and SP levels should be?

Solman 7.0 EHP1 SR1 has a higher SP-level, because Solman 7.0 EHP1 has only:

and besides this, I don't know if you have ever installed Solman 7.0 with "Solman 7.0 EHP1" DVDs.

The database import from DVD is with Splevel 18 and then you have to patch to SP23 (or hgher) with the DVD Mat no 51038452 : SP19_23. So this needs time!!!!

It would be much easier to have a SR1 package with ST SP 25 included!!!

If there is a so called release ".... SR1", there should be an installation package for SR1. But when ???????
