Need advice, which one to choose 7.01 EHP1 SPS 8 or 7.02 EHP2 SPS 6 ?

Hello Experts,

In connection with the Portal setup we need to move on the latest patch level. Question is which patch level to choose either 7.01 EHP1 SPS 8 or 7.02 EHP2 SPS 6. What's the major diffrences between two ? Any new features with EHP2 ?

Please provide any advise based on your experiences. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

If you use ESS/MSS on the portal you have to take in account the release and Support Packages dependencies between the backoffice HR system (usually ECC6) and the portal.

Hi Sunil,

If your not particular about the version of portal, then I would recommend NW 702 SP6 since its of higher release than 701. This has many enhancements in addition to 701. As a technical admin, I do not see many configuration changes.
