CST No Mandatory in XD01/XD02

Dear All

Our customers requirement is make CST no field mandatory in customer master XD01. I have tried through customization but its not possible

Plz suggest any solution

create a transaction variant .

make the cst field as required and activate the variant.

this will solve your problem.

i already tested this and it is working fine

use t-code OVT0 (ZERO) to make fields mandatory in customer master based on account group

Just to do as vishal told . Another option is use an exit while save customer master make that as mandatory .

Check an exit before saving a customer and populate a message like Cst should Fill.

Yes but you can see "VAT Registration Number" in customer master which can be set as mandatory in OBD2 for that Account Group

Hi Arun,

Already Mr.Lakshmipathi suggested a solution else ask your Abap people and use them an exit.Ask them to give one pop up if you miss that field.
