Activity code description not translated

Hi there,

is the translation of the activity code description not supported?

Just for testing purposes I entered

'I18N[DM500.activity.DESC]'

for the acivity code SFCREL. In the device history report it is not translated but returns the string

'I18N[DM500.activity.DESC]'

litarally.

Is that a bug or a feature? Could it be solved within the next patches?

Hello Georg,

As far as I understand you have replaced the Description of SFCREL Activity Code with

'I18N[DM500.activity.DESC]'

in Activity Code Maintenance. Please note that current behavior is correct as it is not supposed to parse the Description field.

Hi Alex,

I noticed, that the "[" were formatted to "http://"....

My question is, wether there is the possibility to add the activity code description to the "LocaleSpecificText_xx.properties" file in oder to get it translated.

For example:

18N[DM500.activity.DESC]

DM500.activity.DESC=Create and Release Demand

You may request it as custom enhancement. Don't think it is planned as base enhancement for ME 6.0.
