Document in Material Master not copied to PR/PO

Hi,

In my company we're using DMS, in which we link the technical drawing file to the material master. Our understanding is that IF we use the material master in the PR and later in the PO, the link will be carried on in the document, so when we view the document we can also able to click the link of the drawing directly from the document (as opposed to go to the material master and click the link from there).

I believe SAP should be able to do this, do I miss some configuration in here?

Hi Yosea,

Believe DIR maintains individual links with objects MM,PR and PO and hence an assignment in MM cannot be copied onto next set of subsequent objects i.e, PR and PO in the standard behavior and hence is a limitation!!
