Single Number Range for Trip ID

Hi Experts,

We have implemented Travel Management and presently the Trip Number Range is assigned to Personal Areas (as prescribed by SAP).

Our new requirement is to have a single number range irrespective of Personal Area.

I want to know if this is a feasible approach and if so how do we achive this.

Yes, this is possible with the help of the User Exit:

Financial Accounting

Travel Management

Business Add-Ins and User Exits in Travel Management

Entry

User-Exit-Include: Additional Action Options for Data Entry

User exit EX_GET_NUMBER

Here the number range intervals for internal number assignment can be

specified for employees according to customer criteria.

Example

Instead of the personnel area, the company code (for example) of the

employee can be used to determine the number range interval in the HR

master data. In this case, use only a pseudo personnel area in

transaction PR10.
