WebDynPro Installation

Hi all,

We are using an IDES system ECC 5.0 .

I am very new to WebDynpros and just learning it .

In the tutorial , there was an option in SE80 for WebDynpros. But we did not have it in our system.

I suppose ITS is not installed in our system. Can you guide me in this regard ?

1. What are all the reqd installations ?

2. How to check whether each one of them are installed already or not ?

3. If not installed , where to get the Installations ?

If you wish to work with WebDynpro ABAP, then you need at least Netweaver 2004s. ECC 5.0 does not run on this, it runson the Netweaver 2004(WebAS 6.40). So Web dynpro ABAP will not be available in your ECC 5.0 installation. You will need an ECC 6.0 installation to have Web Dynpro ABAP available in SE80.

webdynpro for ABAP is available as of release Netweaver2004s.so it wont be available in ECC 5.0
