I have configured sapccmsr on dual-stack system, but just want to check whther I need to install/configure sapccm4x agent as well?

Hi

what is the system version?

up to NW 7.0 under the dual stack you shoudl register the JAVA instance with the local ABAP instance using SAPCCMSR,

As of SAP NetWeaver 7.1, you no longer need to register the Java agent, since the ABAP and Java stacks have a shared monitoring segment

but if you monitor ABAP in both cases you required SAPCCM4X.
