Error while creating BP as person

When am creating the business partner as person in SNC5.1 , am getting following error.

Error is 'You are not authorized to maintain user data'

message nr R11224

What could be the reason?

Hi Vaibhav

Since you are working on the Basic Master Data Creation

Make sure your user has the following roles added in SU01 trnx--roles tab

SAP_SMI_MD

SAP_SMI_EXT_MD_SUPERUSER

SAP_LIME_USER

The reported error should not appear

This error is resolved. We have created the user in backened ECC system (SU01)and then again tried to create the BP in SCM. System allowed us to create the same.

Hi Vaibhav

Chek what roles are attached to your user name in T code SU01. Use SNC super user or administrator role to create BP. i think current role is not permitting you to create the BP.
