I need your expert advice on an issue. I configured new shipping point by doing Copy, delete, check shipping point > Copy with reference, to which the system prompted the message "Transport number ranges and addresses. This may cause errors in connection with transports when the number ranges or address numbers in the target system are already used". I saw that when the objects were moved to QA, the address nos. were retained. I am thinking that this will be moved all the way to Production. I checked and the addresses nos. are currently assigned to some master data records. Can you please shed light on what may happen if we proceed to move this to Prod?
If it not safe to do so, how can we back this out? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
