Define Work Station Applications per Document Type

Hello

Can anyone help please.

Can allowed work station applications be defined per document type. PDF, word doc .doc, etc.

I can see in the config the define workstation application, is the only option to delete unwanted entries or can you define elsewhere without deleting the standard ( we might require then later).

Another option would be to check the field 'Def. WS appl' in DC10 transaction to default a workstation application to a particular document type.

Hi Wayne,

Its not possible to create workstation application document type but you can restrict user to select particular work station application while uploading original file using BADI.

you can use DOCUMENT_FILES01 BADI for check Work Station Applications as per document type.
