Workflow for RFX Phases

Hi Gurus,

We are currently trying to develop workflow for 1. Contract approval 2. Project phases 3. RFX Phase approval, We are struggling with the RFX phase approval as they do not appear in the set up under Configrable Phase Definition.

How do we go about developing workflow for RFX phases?

What it can be done for this is to set a user or group of users in the doc security template f RFx as approver. It will set this user or group as approver and that approval will be needed in order to continue with the RFx Process.

Hi Manyek,

Please note that the Workflow configuration is not supported out of the box for the Business Object "RFX"

Its available for the Project, Contracts and also the UDO (User defined object)

if you have a pressing need to still do the workflow for the RFX process, then check for any custom API creation

You might also want to open an OSS message with SAP to see if the latest on premise version of wave 7 that would be released has this feature or not?

Hi,

As we don't have phase definitions for RFx we didnot attached workflow definition there. Please let me know the business need. RFx is used after strategic decision for going to sourcing activity.
